2013 IRIS Award Winner

Natalie Finch BVSc, PhD, MRCVS
Senior clinical training scholar in Feline Medicine, School of Veterinary Sciences, Bristol University.

The 2013 winner of the IRIS Award is Natalie Finch, who is being recognized for her outstanding contributions to the field of veterinary nephrology. Her continuing research goals are to better understand factors initiating feline chronic kidney disease and to facilitate its diagnosis at an earlier stage. The price was awarded by the International Renal Interest Society at the annual meeting of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM) in Liverpool, United Kingdom on September 12, 2013.

Natalie completed the majority of the work for which she received the award during a clinical research scholarship at the Royal Veterinary College, London, where she worked in collaboration with Professor Elliott's group. She is currently a senior clinical training fellow in Feline Medicine at the School of Veterinary Sciences, Bristol University.
